Beauty of Black and White

I am a Amateur photographer, I am just happy to be able to do it and love it. Black and White photography is Beautiful, I say give me Film and leave the Digital at home. Don't get me wrong Digital is fine too, but film slows you down and makes you work for the photograph. Also its Magic!

Three Roses by Tom Baril. On the left is a Platinum Print and on the right is a Silver Print of the same image. In the Platinum Print, the tones are more evenly distributed and give greater contrast and depth to the image.  Note the predominance of deeper hues and a shorter tonal range in the Silver Print.
